Temel ilgi alanları tefsir, belagat, dilbilim, dil felsefesi ve müteahhir dönem İslam düşüncesi olan yazarın bahsi geçen alanlarda makale ve kitap çalışmaları bulunmaktadır. Eserin temelleri yazarın 2014 yılında hazırladığı “Abdülkâhir el-Cürcânî’nin Sözdizimi Nazariyesi ve Tefsir Geleneğine Etkisi” başlıklı doktora tezine dayanmaktadır.
